Just gonna put this here for the moment. but this will probably have more stuff later.

How to set up a new show

1. Create a show “owner”
   Settings > Users > Add new
   1. make sure they have author privilege
   2. if an email address is needed for the show please lmk
2. Set up Podcast Filter
   Podcasts > filters > add new. you really only need the name here.
3. Set up show
   Shows > add new.
   1. Title is minimum, short show description optional. don’t bother putting anything in the body because it will get erased… from existence
   2. check any genres that apply
   3. Add logo to featured image
   4. Podcast archive > Select the podcast filter from step 1
   5. Add any team members. if they don’t already exist, save (publish), open a new window and  create them. skip to step 4 for a moment
   6. Social network pages – be sure to use the ENTIRE link with https://
   7. Subscribe links are set up later in Elementor
   8. Change Author to “Koontz”
4. Team Members
   Go to the associate team member pages  and add show to their profile.
   Change Author to “Koontz”
5.  import show
   1. Tools > podcast importer
   2. podcast RSS goes in the top box .
   3. Follow the guide below. post author should be the new user set up in step 1
   4. it is VERY IMPORTANT that you do not both import images and set to re-sync. If the show uses the same image every time (YMS) you could potentially just assign the image globally for the show and allow it to re-sync.

6. Add to Menu
   1. Appearance > menus
   2. Make sure you’re changing Main Menu (probably default)
   3. Add menu items > shows > check the box and click add to menu
   4. click & drag to rearrange it so it is indented under the PODCASTS menu
   5. SAVE MENU. blue button in bottom right
7. Leave dashboard and check to see how it looks. I’ll finish the rest of it later like how to set up subscribe links
