Oh Hi! It’s Justin. Today I am writing to share with you the Top 5 MLS Jerseys and kits of the 2022 season. If you want to watch this as opposed to reading…I get it. Click this link or push play below…otherwise read on!

#5 – Philadelphia Union For U Kit

A huge step up from the pjs that came out last year. The blue vertical stripe is such a great touch and looks great trimmed with gold. I hope this is the one they keep next season.

#4 – Inter Miami Heartbeat Kit

Inter Miami should have been a lock for my favorite MLS kits from their inception. Finally leaning into pink is a huge step in the right direction, which is why it lands at the 4 spot. I wish they went harder with the pink, hotter. Probably would make them #1.

#3 – Colorado Rapids

Simply dubbed the club kit.On the show we talk about matching color schemes across sports and I love them locking in with the Avalanche. I think an overlooked feature sometimes, the sock, is what really makes me love these. The blue sock with the Burgundy stripes is so much win.

#2 – Charlotte FC Mint City Kit

Newly minted indeed. The inaugural Charlotte kits are both very good, the home kit a simple Carolina blue gives it a huge nod for me. But in it’s expansion year, these Mint City kits stole my heart. I love the mint green against the black jersey.

#1 Vancouver Whitecaps FC This City

No surprise to anyone who has listened to the show before. The This City kits create a real problem for next year because both of the Caps kits are tremendous.  The darker blue taking the wheel here is the real star.  Just a great look all around.

Any way you slice it all of these teams will have a tough decision as their keeper jersey next year (not you, Philadelphia). The MLS does a great job of putting out new gear annually, which for Gear Freaks like us…is life.
